A public hearing is going to be held by the Thurston County Board of County Commissioners to receive and consider public testimony on the 2025 Flood Hazard Mitigation Plan update.
The hearing takes place at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 16, at Room 110, 3000 Pacific Avenue SE, Olympia. The meeting can also be viewed online.

People can submit testimony in a number of ways:
In-person or virtually: People wishing to testify should appear in person or connect virtually and be heard. Testimony will be accepted at the hearing.
Written comments: People may submit written comments no later than noon on Sept. 16 by using the comment form located here or by e-mailing Associated Planner Amelia Schwartz at Amelia.Schwartz@co.thurston.wa.us.
