Homeowner Septic Self-Inspection Certification - Registration Required

Registration is required. Call to see if your septic system qualifies and to register at the Environmental Health O&M program at 360-867-2626. The deadline to sign up for a class is the Friday before the class you want to attend.

1. Have one of the following septic system types:
   • Conventional Gravity
   • Pressure Distribution
   • Mound
   • Glendon® Biofilter, and;
2. Access to a computer to view videos and submit inspection report online. 

Online Videos and In-Person Workshops including Field Test Reviews and Training

The workshop is offered twice a month.

Where:  In-Person Training at the Thurston County Public Health Building, (near St. Peter's Hospital)

NOTE: The field portion of the class is outside, please dress accordingly and bring an umbrella.

Attendees will receive:

• Copy of septic records
• Class handouts
• Certification to inspect your septic system.
• $10 off next septic tank pump-out
• $50 riser rebate(s)
