Join Club Oly Road Runners to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the first women's Olympic marathon trials that took place in Olympia, WA in 1984. This was a huge milestone in women's running.
Athletes include Desiree Linden, 2018 Boston Marathon Champion, Jacqueline Hansen, 1973 Boston Marathon Champion, other 1984 trials participants and so many more!
Shakeout run at 9 at Marathon Park and panel discussions from 11-3:30 at the Olympia Ballroom.
The event is a fundraiser for Bras for Girls, a nonprofit that gives sports bras to girls in need to increase the participation of girls/women in sports.
