Intercity bus detours for routes 12, 68, due to road work

Intercity Transit announced that Routes 12 and 68 are on detour until Monday, August 2.

Beginning Wednesday, the bus routes have been rerouted to go through Barnes Boulevard, turn right on Vista Loop, left on 12th Avenue, left on Irving Street, right on Crosby Boulevard, and left to Mottman Road where they'll continue on the regular route.

Intercity explained in a press release that the rerouting is a result of ongoing construction on Crosby Boulevard.

The affected bus stops that are closed:

• Stop #87, Barnes Blvd. at Ridgeview Loop [nb]
• Stop #88, South Puget Sound Community College
• Stop #100, Crosby Blvd. at Somerset Hill Dr. [sb]
• Stop #332, Crosby Blvd. at Mottman Rd. [sb]
• Stop #784, Crosby Blvd. at Westbury Lane [nb]

An open bus stop that can be caught is #1074 located at the Mottman entrance to SPSCC.
