"It is Happiness" Fundraising Concert

Capital City Chorus - Chorale has been invited to sing the national debut of local composer Joan Szymko's "It is Happiness," based on Pulitzer poet Mary Oliver, at Carnegie Hall on May 24, 2026.

They are presenting a live performance of this work on January 17 along with poetry readings, small bites and beverages, a silent auction, and a wine pull.

All proceeds will support those singers who would otherwise not be able to participate in the Carnegie Trip. The partner, Browsers Books, will be on hand to sell all things Mary Oliver!
