Lacey man accused of throwing rocks at security guards

Posted

A Lacey man was arrested on suspicion of hurling rocks at two security guards who were working at the Intercity Transit Center on State Avenue NE.

The reporting party wrote in his witness statement that a man, later identified as Clint Ryan Larsen, 33, “was smashing a cinder block across the street from us when he started to throw chunks at the building and at me and the other guard.”

The guard said he told Larsen to stop but the suspect continued. “When he threw the second piece at us, we had to move as it exploded next to us,” he wrote.

The other security guard wrote that Larsen “threw a piece very close to us. I think he was trying to hit us.”

Both guards told police that they would have sustained injuries from getting hit by the rocks if they had not moved.

Police found Larsen near the IT Center holding a broom but arrested him without incident.

Larsen was booked into the Thurston County Jail for third-degree assault.

And released. No one with that full name is listed as being in jail.
