A 34-year-old man is facing three felony charges of third-degree assault for allegedly attacking police officers who responded to a disturbance call, the Lacey Police Department said in a report.
Zachary Frank Stallings, of Olympia, allegedly assaulted the officers on the night of Aug. 3 while they were responding to a report of a disorderly person at a residence on Birdseye Avenue NE.
According to the report, Stallings appeared to be under the influence of hallucinogenic drugs and became combative when officers attempted to speak with him.
Stallings kicked officers, attempted to bite one of them, and spit on another during the incident. Officers also said he grabbed at their equipment, breaking a body camera mount and other gear.
“Zachary continued to actively fight us. It took four of us to hold him down until more units could arrive to put Zachary in the WRAP restraint device. While we were holding Zachary down, he started to spit at us and was still trying to break free from our holds,” one of the responding officers stated in the report.
Additional officers and deputies were called to the scene to assist in restraining Stallings. He was later evaluated by medics, and then taken to Providence St. Peter Hospital before being booked into the Thurston County Corrections Facility.

Doesn't sound like he was a danger to anyone but himself and anyone trying to wrestle him. Hopefully he'll get treatment for whatever the hell led him to his current circumstance.

He's not on the jail roster, so he must have been released.

Those that complain about Our court system never invloved themselves in Justice, Truth, or Education.. because the Outcome isn't what you WISH or would like, means Nothing. If you want to educate people you must speak Truths NOT Lies and Misinformation.

If he hadn't been restrained by the officers, he very well could've presented a threat - even a lethal one - to others.
