Lacey opens applications for 2024 Neighborhood Grant Program

The City of Lacey has opened its Neighborhood Grant Program (LNGP) and invites community members to apply for funding to support projects.

The LNGP is a matching grant program designed to empower neighborhoods within Lacey to undertake projects that enhance community pride, beautify the city, and increase community involvement.

Both formally recognized Homeowners Associations (HOAs) and informal neighborhood groups within the city are eligible to apply for the program.

Successful applicants can receive grants of up to $2,500 to support their endeavors.

Informal neighborhood groups, which lack formal regulations or associations, are also encouraged to participate.

Projects eligible for funding cover a wide range of categories:

• Neighborhood Beautification
• Safe Neighborhoods and Disaster Preparedness
• Board Education and Organizational Development
• Environmental Sustainability and Resiliency
• Neighborhood Art and Monument Structures
• National Night Out Community Events
• Compassion programs
