Lacey seeks Planning Commissioner

Lacey is inviting community members to apply for a vacant post in its Planning Commission.

“The nine-member Lacey Planning Commission develops recommendations to the Lacey City Council related to long-range comprehensive planning goals and policies in Lacey, and potential annexations,” the city explained, adding that the commission meets every first and third Tuesdays of the month at 6 p.m. at city hall.

On its website, Lacey stipulates that seven members of the commission must be Lacey residents, while two members may be living in the Urban Growth Area. This vacancy requires the applicant to be residing in the city.

Applicants must submit a letter of interest and resume and submit it to the city by August 31, Thursday. Questions may be addressed to the City Clerk at (360) 491-3214 or through email.
