The City of Lacey's 2025 Water Quality Report showed that the city met or exceeded water quality standards set by the Environmental Protection Agency and the Washington State Department of Health.
The water quality report tests for over 30 possible contaminants, including arsenic, lead, nitrate and bacteria.
“I am pleased that, once again, Lacey’s drinking water met or exceeded all regulations and mandates,” said Lacey Mayor Andy Ryder in a statement about report.
“City Public Works Water Utility staff work hard to deliver a safe and reliable source of drinking water to our community.”
The city conducts a monthly, comprehensive water testing program to ensure that its water is safe for people to drink. Should water quality ever exceed safe contaminant levels, the city said it is required to report it.
The report is available online in six languages, and at City Hall, the Community Center and Lacey Veterans Service Hub.
