League of Women Voters Thurston County Releases Candidate Forum Videos

The League of Women Voters Thurston County (LWVTC) in conjunction with Thurston Community Media held primary candidate forums for positions with two or more candidates including Legislative District 22, Positions 1 and 2, and LD 35, Position 2. The forums can be viewed on our Candidate Forums page.

Voter Services Chairperson, Susan Fiksdal said, "We want every person to be a voter so producing the candidate forums for each election is one of the most important things we do at the League." Shelley Kneip, Vice President of the LWVTC was actively involved in coordinating the primary forums this year. Shelley said, "The League is proud to be nonpartisan, we never support any candidate or party, but we actively bring important issues to the voters."

The next series of candidate forums will be in the fall with candidates selected by voters in the primary elections.
