Legislators discuss what to do about The Blake Decision and how to limit drug abuse

As the 2021 Legislative Session came to a close this weekend with the ceremonies of sine die, legislators discussed The Blake Decision, in which the state’s Supreme Court eliminated simple drug possession charges on February 21 for hundreds of pending cases. 

Olympia District 2 Representative Andrew Barkis and District 22 Representative Jessica Bateman are included in this presentation.
