Lacey’s playbook for winter and spring activities is now available online, the city’s Parks, Culture and Recreation Director Jen Burbidge said during the Board of Park Commissioners meeting on Wednesday, December 7.

Burbidge said interested residents can start registering for various programs and activities on Wednesday, December 14.

“I encourage you all to take a look at it,” says Burbidge.

The playbook details various city events like the Lacey Loves to Read, Cultural Celebration, Family Fish-in and Fun Fairs, among others.

There are also featured classes for adults, youth and teens, such as belly dancing, taiko drumming, first-aid CPR class, toddler and preschool explorations, art for kids, and other exciting classes.

Residents can also check out the playbook for sports, fitness and aquatic activities and classes within the city.

The playbook is part of the department’s efforts to provide “healthy, inspirational and recreational” opportunities through various programs, facilities and events.
