A man wanted on multiple warrants was arrested following a foot chase in the Lacey area on the evening of Tuesday, May 6.
Thurston County Sheriff Derek Sanders shared on his social media video footage of the foot pursuit taken from his bodycam.
The incident began when Thurston County Sheriff's Office personnel responded to reports of a disturbance at an apartment complex near Marvin Road. Upon arrival, they identified a man leaving the area as one of the alleged suspects of the disturbance.
When deputies attempted to detain the individual, he fled on foot. The pursuit continued along Marvin Road until the suspect fell into a patch of bushes.
Deputies quickly arrested him without further incident.
The suspect was confirmed to have several outstanding warrants from King County, including theft and violation of a court order.
He was transported to King County, where he was booked into jail on the outstanding warrants.
