What is a Memory Cafe?
A Memory Cafe is a welcoming place where people experiencing changes in memory or thinking—and those who care about them—can find meaningful programming, friendship, and acceptance.
No diagnosis is required to attend.
Reduce Isolation: Cognitive challenges like dementia can bring feelings of isolation and loneliness. Research shows this can create additional health challenges; Memory Cafes are an easy, supportive way to stay connected.
Community-Focused: Cafes commonly meet monthly, are held in comfortable community spaces, and are always run by a trained facilitator.
