The family-friendly, no-rapids 2026 Nisqually River Float Trip returns on June 13-14. Tickets are now available online.

The trip, lasting somewhere between four and five hours depending on river conditions, includes a catered riverbank lunch.

“Rafting is the best way to see the Nisqually River's wild and scenic reaches, including many of the Land Trust's protected shoreline properties,” said the Nisqually Land Trust in an announcement about the event.

The event, which is rated for adults and children 60 pounds and over, will be guided by Alpine Adventures.

“Join us to float a seldom-seen (10-mile) stretch of the middle reach and experience the natural beauty of the river from the water,” the trust added.

Each ticket costs $195 and includes rafting gear, professional guides, lunch and a shuttle ride.

Detailed information, including the meeting location, will be provided upon registration. Once tickets sell out, individuals are encouraged to sign up for the waitlist.
