No rain in weekend weather outlook for Thurston County

A cold and calm weekend lies ahead for Thurston County with no rain in sight.

The National Weather Service Office in Seattle forecast calls for mostly sunny skies on Saturday, Dec. 27, with a daytime high near 41 degrees and a light, variable wind.

Patchy fog is in the mix along with mostly cloudy skies on Saturday evening, with an overnight low around 31 degrees and a light wind.

The outlook is similar on Sunday, Dec. 28, with areas of fog before 11 a.m., and then mostly cloudy skies with a daytime high near 42 degrees and a calm wind.

Sunday evening should be similar to Saturday night, with patchy fog mixed in with mostly cloudy skies and an overnight low around 31 degrees.

Similar conditions are expected on Monday, Dec. 29, and Tuesday, Dec. 30. There is a slight chance of rain on New Year’s Eve. Forecasts are subject to change.
