North Thurston Public Schools inviting military families to appreciation event 

All active duty and reserve personnel, veterans and their families are invited to attend the Military Spouse Appreciation Event of the North Thurston Public Schools on May 8. 

“Please join us! This year will be a casual come-and-go format featuring resource tables, light refreshments, a small token of appreciation, and door prizes,” the district wrote on its website. 

The event will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the District Office Boardroom at 305 College St. NE in Lacey. 

The district said the gathering is “a wonderful opportunity to build connections, share great food, enjoy meaningful conversations, and have some fun together.”
