OlyFilm 10th Anniversary Retrospective Celebration

LOCAL FILMMAKERS HOLD SCREENING AT
THE CAPITOL THEATER TO SHOW OFF A DECADE OF WORK
“10th Anniversary Retrospective Celebration,” will celebrate 10 years of making films in Olympia, Washington on Monday, December 12th, 2022 at 6PM doors/7PM show.

OlyFilm - previously known as the Olympia Film Collective or ‘OFC’ - an award-winning 501(c)3 non-profit, is celebrating ten (10) years of supporting local independent filmmakers with a retrospective of their past work at Capitol Theatre (206 5th Ave SE Olympia, WA 98501). Doors open at 6:00PM with a red carpet entry, step and repeat banner photos, and a slideshow of ‘behind-the-scenes’ photos from the last 10 years. Screening starts at 7:00PM with 19 total short films, various raffle prizes and Q&A to follow with the filmmakers.

This event is a fundraiser for OlyFilm and proceeds will help further the nonprofit’s mission and future projects. Tickets are on sale at Olympia Film Society for $10 pre-sale, $15 at the door, https://olympiafilmsociety.org/olyfilm/. A special after-party at the Brotherhood Lounge (119 Capitol Way N, Olympia, WA 98501), OlyFilm’s first set location, will follow at 10:00PM. 50% of the proceeds from the after party will benefit the non-profit organization and film in the South Sound.
