The Olympia Chess Club will begin meeting from 5-9 p.m. each Wednesday at Olympia Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 2306 East End St. NW, Olympia.
The new meeting location takes effect on Feb. 19. The group has been meeting at the Olympia Community Center on Thursday nights.
Chess players of all ages are invited. The club allows anyone under 18 to play for free, while adults are asked to contribute $5 or more to help defray room rental costs.
Players under 13 must have a chaperone, who remains present while the chess player is at the club.
