Olympia City Council candidate forum set for Oct. 8

The League of Women Voters of Thurston County is hosting a candidate forum at Olympia Timberland Library on Wednesday, Oct. 8.

The Olympia City Council candidate forum starts at 6:30 p.m. The library is located at 313 8th Ave. SE in Olympia.

The event is being hosted in collaboration with the NAACP of Thurston County, Thurston Community Media and Olympia Timberland Libary.

The forum is open to the public. Attendees will get the opportunity to provide questions for candidates to answer. 

The forum is one in a series of forums hosted by the League of Women Voters ahead of the Nov. 4 General Election.

Previous forums featured North Thurston school board candidates and Olympia School District board candidates.
