The Council of Neighborhood Associations brings together neighborhood groups from across Olympia to elevate community priorities, strengthen collaboration, and improve the connection between residents, organizations, and city leadership. This forum is intended to create space for broader community input and to help identify shared needs, priorities, and project ideas that could benefit from cross-organizational collaboration.
The purpose of this forum is to hear directly from community members and organizations about needs, priorities, project ideas, and the kinds of support residents want to see, not only related to Neighborhood Matching Grants, but also across other funding opportunities and programs.
The goal is not just to collect feedback, but to begin building stronger connections between residents, neighborhood groups, and organizations who may want to explore collaboration, including potential joint grant applications or partnership opportunities.
At the forum, participants will:
Learn about the Council of Neighborhood Associations and its role
Connect with residents and community leaders across neighborhoods
Share priorities, ideas, and project concepts
Identify opportunities for collaboration
Help shape what this collective work focuses on next
There will be free pizza and water.
If you or others from your organization are unable to attend in person, you can still share your input using this community priorities survey link.
