Olympia Family Theater (OFT) will present "Magic Curtain Mornings!" on April 18, 25 and 26. The event will feature child-friendly daytime performances.

“Come be part of the return of this cherished tradition — now with a new name and exciting new stories! Join us for Magic Curtain Mornings, where big stories come to life for little audiences,” the theater said in a press release.

The shows will be held at the Olympia Family Theater at 612 4th Ave. E, downtown Olympia, at 10:30 a.m. Doors open at 10:15 a.m.

The series is an ideal experience for toddlers, preschoolers and beyond, as each show runs less than 30 minutes.

Magic Curtain Mornings will kick off with "Red and the Dancing Wolf," an original play created by OFT’s education and production artists.

“This fresh take on the classic fairy tale brings music, movement, and surprises to the stage, inviting kids to laugh, dance, and be part of the fun,” OFT’s press release stated.

The ticket price is $5 per person per show.

Community members who are interested in acting, writing, directing or being a part of Magic Curtain Mornings, may apply through an online form.
