Olympia Federal Savings reported assets of more than $1 billion at the end of the third quarter, as it continued to see robust demand for its products and services.
For the third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2025, Olympia Federal Savings posted assets of $1.03 billion. That marked an increase of $43.7 million from the start of the fiscal year on April 1, 2025.
The bank reported $33.3 million in branch deposit growth, as well as $21.1 million in branch loan growth in the first three quarters of the fiscal year. The bank also noted it has paid out $10.4 million in interest payments to depositors year-to-date.
Part of the loan growth was tied to 36 affordable home loans to households earning less than 80 percent of the area median income.
“It’s inspiring to hear the stories from the people and families that benefit from our Affordable Home Loan Program,” said Olympia Federal Savings President and CEO Josh Deck in a statement on Feb. 5.
“These are households that would not normally qualify to purchase a home, and, in many cases, our program is lowering their monthly payment below what they were paying for rent.
“We know home ownership means stability, community, the opportunity to build wealth and to access capital through equity. These are key differentiators when it comes to improving education levels, health outcomes and our overall quality of life, which is why this program plays such an important part of the value we deliver to our community.”
Deck also pointed toward a stout increase in the number of debit card transactions, up more than 32,000 year over year, as well as the impact that has made in the bank’s Two Cent Program. The program, which supports a local nonprofit and school district each month, donates 2 cents to community initiatives every time a customer uses their debit card.
All told, the bank has contributed approximately $239,000 to local services and causes via its charitable giving programs through the first nine months of the fiscal year, while its employees have volunteered more than 1,000 hours in the community.
“I’m really proud of our team and how we continue to look for ways to improve our products, services and impact in the community, while managing our revenue and expenses in a fiscally sound manner,” Deck said.
“Our organizational culture is truly one that’s committed to excellence in all we do and that’s evidenced by our recent recognition as the Best Bank to Work For in the nation by the Independent Community Bankers of America.”

Thank you OlyFed for your generous, charitable donations over the years, to many local services. I know banks are supposed to do this, but I'm not sure how many actually do it like you guys.
