Students from Black Hills, Olympia, Timberline and Tumwater high schools were some of the 2025 Art Show winners in Capital Region Educational Service District (ESD) 113.
The 52nd annual Art Show featured high school students across Grays Harbor, Lewis, Mason, Pacific and Thurston counties.
Superintendent Flip Herndon will recognize the awardees at a reception at ESD 113’s main building in Tumwater on Thursday, March 27 at 6 p.m.
Regional award winners will move to the state-level contest, Superintendent’s High School Art Show, at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts on May 14.
Out of all the regional winners of the state’s nine ESDs, 26 pieces of student art will be selected for statewide recognition.
The Superintendent's High School Art Show is an annual event co-hosted by the Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) and the Washington Art Education Association (WAEA).
