The City of Olympia is now accepting applications for its Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program for the 2025 funding cycle.
Nonprofit organizations, housing authorities and government agencies within the city limits are encouraged to apply for financial support aimed at benefiting low- and moderate-income residents.
These groups are allowed to apply, but individuals are not. Groups are eligible to apply for the CDBG funding, which runs from Sept. 1, 2025 to Aug. 31, 2026.
With an estimated $277,600 in funding available, organizations can submit proposals starting March 3. Applications will be accepted until March 24 at 5 p.m.
Funding is limited, with a cap of $50,000 allocated specifically for public service activities.
To assist potential applicants, a virtual pre-application workshop is scheduled for March 13 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The session will provide information on program requirements and eligibility. Interested participants can join the meeting via Zoom.
