The Olympia Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a woman’s remains found last week.

On March 31, officers responded to a report of a body that was discovered in a wooded area in Olympia. The Olympian reported that the body was located near Thurston County Joint Animal Services.

“The death appears suspicious at this time,” the police department said in a poster showing the woman’s clothing and accessories.

The remains are believed to belong to a woman 5’4” tall with a slender build and dark curly hair “between the ages of teens to 40 years old.”

She was wearing a white t-shirt that reads “Bitter sweet love Los Angeles flowershop,” dark sweatpants, pink boots sized women’s 8.5 to 9.5, multiple rings all on her left hand, an ankle bracelet on her right ankle, a necklace, and a heart tattoo on her right buttock.

Those with information about the identity of the woman were urged to call the Olympia Police Department’s Detective Division at (360) 753-8300, or CrimeStoppers of South Sound at (800) 222- 8477.
