The Olympia Police Department (OPD) is requesting assistance in identifying a suspect who allegedly stole alcohol from Total Wine & More in Olympia.
The theft occurred on March 19.
"While fleeing the store, the suspect assaulted an employee that was attempting to prevent the theft," the OPD said in a social media post.
The suspect was described as a female in her 20s wearing a blue sweatsuit and a black coat. She was seen getting into a blue Chevy Malibu.
Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to contact the OPD at 360-753-8300.
