Olympia School District 2025–26 bus registration closes on Aug. 15 

Parents and guardians of Olympia School District students, who plan to ride the bus to and from school, are running out of time to fill out a bus transportation registration form for the 2025-26 school year. 

Students are required to be registered by Aug. 15 to access the district’s transportation services once school starts. 

“To ensure transportation is available on the first day of school, please submit your registration by August 15, 2025. Forms received after this date may not be processed until late September, depending on demand,” the district stated on its website. 

The district also reminded parents and guardians that unregistered students arriving at a bus stop established through other registrations mens will be transported to school in the morning, but not transported home after classes. The students must be picked up by a parent or guardian until they are registered. 

Transportation services will only begin after proper registration and routing are completed, which will take several days depending on demand. 

Transportation information, such as stop locations, pick-up times, drop-off times and route numbers will be shared with families in late August. 

Students who qualify for special education (IEP) transportation, McKinney-Vento services, or are enrolled in preschool are not required to complete the general registration form, as they will be handled through the Student Support Department.
