Posted

The nearly sold out Olympia Funk Festival is returning to downtown on Jan. 30 through Feb. 1, bringing with it a weekend of live music, food and activities.

Performers include New Orleans-based band Tank and the Bangas, bassist MonoNeon, rhythm and blues funk group George Porter, Jr. and the Runnin’ Pardners, and soul singer Erica Falls.

The festival, which is produced by Ecstatic Sound Collective, aims to bring together funk lovers from near and far for a winter weekend like no other.

“Dive into a weekend of pure (funkiness,) with legends laying down the foundation and fresh faces lighting the flame,” states the event's website.

The 2026 lineup was announced at an event at the Ilk Lodge in September 2025

This year’s ticketed performances will be held at the Capitol Theater, Olympia Ballroom and Olympia Center, with non-ticketed events at Ilk Lodge.

Washington Street will be transformed into a festival hub lined with food trucks, a beer garden and various tables for attendees.

“Oly Funk Fest is all about music, community, and connection. Whether you’re a lifelong funk fan or just discovering the groove, there’s a place for you here,” states the event's website.

All-weekend passes are sold out.. To enjoy the festival, only the Sunday single-day pass is available. Interested individuals and groups may follow the event's  website for ticket updates.

Should have announced as tickets went on sale. Not very helpful when it’s sold out is it.
