The City of Lacey expanded its veterans support access on Monday, Oct. 6, when the Lacey Veterans Services Hub (LVSH) launched a digital appointment system that lets clients book meetings with a veteran service officer up to 30 days in advance.
Veterans, active duty personnel and military families can now reserve appointments through the online system, as early as 24 hours before a visit or by calling 360-456-3850 under the same schedule.
“This change provides greater predictability for clients and providers, helping to streamline the process,” said Lacey Veterans Services Hub in a statement. “Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to enhance our services.”
The hub, which is located at 4232 6th Ave. SE, Suite 101, Lacey, assists veterans and families through benefit intake, housing stabilization, employment placement, legal assistance and behavioral health services. The hub is working in cooperation with more than 150 agencies.
The hub, which is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., accepts in-person, phone and web scheduling for clients in the South Puget Sound region.
Clients can schedule appointments through the LVSH’s online booking page.
