Partly to mostly sunny skies this weekend in Thurston County

The first weekend in April is shaping up to be a delightful one for fans of the outdoors with partly to mostly sunny skies and daytime highs in the 60s.

The National Weather Service Office in Seattle forecast calls for a high near 63 degrees on Saturday, April 5, with mostly sunny skies. A calm morning wind should turn into a north, northeast wind of 5 to 7 miles per hour (mph) in the afternoon.

There should be mostly cloudy skies on Saturday evening with an overnight low around 41 degrees with a north, northeast wind of 3 to 8 mph.

Partly sunny skies are in the forecast on Sunday, April 6, with a daytime high near 68 degrees. The overnight low should be around 44 degrees with mostly cloudy skies.

The nice batch of weather should carry over into the early part of next week with mostly sunny skies and a daytime high near 70 degrees on Monday, April 7. Forecasts are subject to change.
