Patricia Crawford Fitzgerald Fenwick passed peacefully into heaven on March 10, 2026, at the age of 88. In her final moments, she called out to her beloved sisters, Marilea and Millie, and it is said her mother came to welcome her home.

Patricia was born on May 4, 1937. She began life in a large, lively family surrounded by eight brothers and sisters, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins whom she loved deeply. Throughout her life, she carried that same sense of family connection and devotion.

She was preceded in death by her children Patti, Rosemary, and Clay, who were there to greet her in heaven. She is lovingly remembered by her children Curtis Fitzgerald, Cara (Tom) Nicholas, Chris (Lisa) Fitzgerald, and Diane (Lynn) Aldrich. A special acknowledgment is given to her son Curtis, who cared for her with unwavering love and dedication in the final years of her life.

Patricia was blessed with a large and growing family, including 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Her legacy lives on through each of them.

She lived a full and busy life, always working hard and doing her best for those she loved. She had a remarkable gift in the kitchen and was known as an amazing cook. She also found great joy in her flowers, nurturing them with the same care she gave to her family.

Patricia had many dear friends and a deep love for her church family. Her faith was a guiding force in her life. She spent countless hours in prayer, lifting up her children, grandchildren, and loved ones.

A prayer found in her bedside table reflects the depth of her devotion and the love she carried in her heart:

“Dear Heavenly Father, today is victorious. In the name of Jesus, I completely surrender my children and grandchildren to You. I declare the enemy cannot steal their destiny, cannot corrupt their minds, and has no authority over their future. Lord, You are the shield around my children, the guardian of their hearts and souls. In the name of Jesus, I rebuke every spirit of rebellion, confusion, depression, and addiction — leave now in Jesus’ name. Cover them with the precious blood of Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Lead them back to the truth and to You. Even if they seem far away, I trust that Your hand has never let them go. I declare my children will never be swallowed by darkness in Christ. They will walk in freedom, receive healing, and fulfill their God-given destiny. In the mighty and victorious name of Jesus Christ I pray, Amen.”

Her family encourages all who read this to carry forward her faith, love, and prayers.

Enjoy heaven, Mom. You earned your rest, and you will be deeply missed.
