Thurston County Sheriff’s Office
On 5/18/24 at 12:24 a.m. in the S 19th Street/Orchard Street S, Sheriff’s deputies arrested Benjamin James Greenwalt, 34, on suspicions of 1) driving under the influence, 2) reckless endangerment, 3) attempt to elude pursuing police vehicle, 4) 3rd degree driving while license suspended, 5) operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock when required, 6) hit and run attended – vehicle and/or property, 7) possession and use of controlled substance.
On 5/18/24 at 3:56 a.m. in the Thurston County Jail, Sheriff’s deputies arrested Buddy Russell Harter, 46, on suspicion of no contact order violation.
On 5/18/24 at 10:00 p.m. in the Old Pacific Highway SE, Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jhan Kalid Lopez-Gonzales, 21, on suspicions of 1) driving under the influence, and 2) hit and run attended – vehicle and/or property.

On 5/18/24 at 4:36 a.m. in the 8100 block of Steilacoom Road SE, police arrested Oscar Ensastegui – Torres, 36, on suspicion of driving under the influence.
On 5/18/24 at 5:00 a.m. in the 4500 block of Ruddell Road SE, police arrested Tia Michelle Groth, 37, on suspicion of 3rd degree driving while license suspended.
Olympia Police Department
On 5/18/24 at 4:52 a.m. in the 900 block of Hensley Street NE/Martin Way E, police arrested Emily Jade Harris, 30, on suspicion of 3rd degree driving while license suspended.
On 5/18/24 at 8:24 a.m. in the 300 block of Washington Street NE, police arrested Cathy Jean Awtry, 63, on suspicion of pedestrian interference.
On 5/18/24 at 2:38 p.m. in the 200 block of State Avenue NE/Franklin Street NE, police arrested Angel Anthony Martinez, 29, on suspicion of pedestrian interference.
On 5/18/24 at 9:17 p.m. in the 3900 block of Capital Mall Drive SW, police arrested Casey Jay Arbogast, 53, on suspicion of 4th degree assault.
On 5/18/24 at 10:32 p.m. in the 1500 block of Cooper Point Road SW, police arrested Torilyn M. Banner, 23, on suspicion of possession of a stolen vehicle.
