On 4/23/26 at 1:20 a.m. in the 8200 block of Martin Way E, sheriff’s deputies arrested Joseph Robert Simpson, 34, on suspicion of driving under the influence.

On 4/23/26 at 12:04 p.m. in the 300 block of Trailblazer Street SE, sheriff’s deputies arrested Dillon Jess Odell, 31, on suspicion of 1) making or possession of auto theft tools, and 2) possession of drug paraphernalia.

On 4/23/26 at 1:57 p.m. in the 300 block of Trailblazer Street SE, sheriff’s deputies arrested Dalia L. Perez-Romero, 30, on suspicion of 1) making/having burglary tools, 2) possession, use of controlled substance, 3) making or possession of auto theft tools, and 4) possession of drug paraphernalia.

On 4/23/26 at 4:44 p.m. in the area of Griffon Elementary School, sheriff’s deputies arrested Richard Matthew Malsed, 61, on suspicion of 1) sexual exploitation of a minor, 2) sale of certain substances vapor or toxic fumes, 3) commercial sexual abuse of a minor, and 4) communication with minor for immoral purpose.

On 4/23/26 at 8:55 p.m. in the 6200 block of 183rd Avenue SW, sheriff’s deputies arrested Billie Rae Blanksma, 88, on suspicion of fourth-degree assault.

On 4/23/26 at 9:49 p.m. in the area of Rainier Road SE and Trowbridge Avenue SE, sheriff’s deputies arrested Benidictor Jacob Kilafwakun, 38, on suspicion of 1) driving under the influence, and 2) vehicular assault.

On 4/23/26 at 10:40 p.m. in the 18000 block of Leitner Road SW, sheriff’s deputies arrested Austin Earl Foster, 20, on suspicion of violation of domestic violence no contact order.

On 4/23/26 at 11:00 p.m. in the 8100 block of Sweetbrier Lane SE, sheriff’s deputies arrested Sonya Lee Japhet, 21, on suspicion of 1) second-degree malicious mischief, and 2) fourth-degree assault.

On 4/23/26 at 2:00 a.m. in the 1300 block of College Street SE, police arrested Brennan S. Wing, 28, on suspicion of out-of-town misdemeanor warrant.

On 4/23/26 at 7:32 a.m. in the 8300 block of Quinault Drive NE, police arrested Edward L. Haggins, 56, on suspicion of first-degree trespassing.

On 4/23/26 at 3:16 p.m. in the 600 block of Sleater Kinney Road SE, police arrested Alicia Jean McGuire, 31, on suspicion of theft ― shoplifting.

On 4/23/26 at 5:26 p.m. in the 4300 block of Cedar Court SE, police arrested David M. Jones, 59, on suspicion of harassment.

On 4/23/26 at 12:59 p.m. in the 400 block of Plum Street SE, police arrested Kaden K. Phillips, 31, on suspicion of theft ― shoplifting.

On 4/23/26 at 1:03 p.m. in the 500 block of Cleveland Avenue SE, police arrested Jane Doe, 20, on suspicion of 1) third-degree assault, and 2) second-degree theft.

Yelm Police Department

On 4/23/26 at 12:52 a.m. in the 500 block of Yelm Avenue E, police arrested Sherri Beth Camacho, 45, on suspicion of third-degree driving while license suspended.

On 4/23/26 at 3:39 a.m. in the 16100 block of Prairie Creek Loop SE, police arrested Michael Dale Whited, 33, on suspicion of 1) eluding a police vehicle, and 2) reckless endangerment.

On 4/23/26 at 8:32 p.m. in the 300 block of 1st Street N, police arrested Christopher J. Canfield, 39, on suspicion of third-degree driving while license suspended.

On 4/23/26 at 8:40 p.m. in the 17100 block of State Route 507, police arrested Pene Fio, 64, on suspicion of failure to transfer title within 45 days.
