On 8/19/26 at 4:46 a.m. in her residence, sheriff’s deputies arrested Sandra Rita Dawn Lopez, 69, on suspicion of fourth-degree assault.
On 8/19/26 at 11:33 a.m. in the 300 block of Binghampton Street, sheriff’s deputies arrested Madison Shay Mounts, 18, on suspicion of second-degree assault.
On 8/19/26 at 3:03 p.m. in the 9500 block of US Highway 12 SW, sheriff’s deputies arrested Ross Michael Reichert, 43, on suspicion of 1) physical control, and 2) possession, use of controlled substance.
On 8/19/26 at 10:00 p.m. in the Interstate-5 North Milepost 109, sheriff’s deputies arrested Gregory Thomas Moody, 48, on suspicion of 1) driving under the influence, and 2) third-degree driving while license suspended.

On 8/19/26 at 10:19 p.m. in the 17100 block of State Route 507, police arrested Sara F. Shalhoob, 39, on suspicion of 1) possession of controlled substance synthetic, 2) possession of drug paraphernalia, and 3) misdemeanor warrant.
An arrest does not mean a person is guilty of the crime of which they are accused. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.

Dear Vanessa Casabuena, Why are you not reporting the crimes in the cities (Oly, Lacey, Tumwater, Yelm)? Do you plan to return to reporting on these areas?

Thank you Vanessa for reporting the local police reports. It is unfortunate that the local cities Olympia, Lacey and Tumwater have discontinued reporting the reports daily.
