Thurston County Sheriff’s Office

On 1/28/26 at 4:30 a.m. in the area of Wichman Street, sheriff’s deputies arrested Brendan Jacob Adams, 21, on suspicion of disorderly conduct.

On 1/28/26 at 10:52 a.m. in the 4800 block of Carpenter Road SE, sheriff’s deputies arrested Bryan Curtis Helton, 56, on suspicion of 1) first-degree arson, 2) first-degree malicious mischief, and 3) obstructing a law enforcement officer.

On 1/28/26 at 7:12 p.m. in the 100 block of Copper Wood Lane SE, sheriff’s deputies arrested Adil Alhassan Obaidalla, 59, on suspicion of fourth-degree assault.

On 1/28/26 at 8:48 p.m. in the area of Pepperridge and Port Orford, sheriff’s deputies arrested Brandon Kenneth Sytsma, 35, on suspicion of 1) residential burglary, 2) violation of domestic violence no contact order, and 3) third-degree malicious mischief.

Lacey Police Department

On 1/28/26 at 7:24 p.m. in the 1400 block of Marvin Road NE, police arrested Thomas Eugene Morgan, 49, on suspicion of theft ― shoplifting.

Olympia Police Department

On 1/28/26 at 9:20 a.m. in the 3500 block of Martin Way E, police arrested Forest D. Meeks, 28, on suspicion of third-degree theft ― shoplifting.

On 1/28/26 at 1:43 p.m. in the 500 block of 4th Avenue W, police arrested Derek Kevin Nelson, 33, on suspicion of theft ― shoplifting.

Yelm Police Department

On 1/28/26 at 12:17 a.m. in the 10300 block of Bridge Road SE, police arrested Anthony Dominique Benford, 33, on suspicion of negligent driving.

On 1/28/26 at 1:28 a.m. in the 800 block of Yelm Avenue W, police arrested Andrew Philip Taylor, 43, on suspicion of 1) resisting arrest, and 2) third-degree driving while license suspended.
