Pop-up Black History Museum

The New Life Baptist Church in Lacey is celebrating and commemorating the month of February as Black History Month.

A featured part of the celebration is a Pop-up Black History Museum that is open to the public this Saturday from 1:00 to 4:00 and next Saturday from 12:00 to 2:00.

The community is invited to visit this unique collection of exhibits, displays, books, artifacts, and archival information to enhance their knowledge and education about the tremendous contributions of Black people to American history.

Note - Middle and high school students will have an opportunity to tour the Museum as part of Educational Field Trips on select dates during the week in partnership with local school districts.
