Primary election yesterday: All fire levies pass

Some candidate races were too close to call as of yesterday

About 21 percent of Thurston County voters turned in their ballots in time to be counted for yesterday’s primary election.

These voters, 39,949 of the 191,908 registered, got to decide for all voters which candidates in races with three or more candidates will proceed to appear on ballots for the November 7 general election, and they approved levies and levy lid lifts for various fire and emergency services agencies.

More ballots are due tonight at 5 p.m. Anticipate updates to this story.
