The City of Tumwater invites community members to provide their input on the proposed New Market Industrial Campus development, Tue., Nov. 30, starting at 6 p.m.
The discussion will focus on issues regarding a proposed agreement between Tumwater and the Port of Olympia to allow Panattoni, a California-based real estate developer, to lease 199-acres of the New Market Campus. Most of the Port-owned property lies in the City of Tumwater.
Concerns raised in previous discussions include; traffic safety, water quality, and the loss of trees. The public hearing will help the city council members decide on whether to approve the proposed development.
Pre-registration is required for those who are interested to participate in the meeting. Residents may sign-up on this Zoom link before 5:45 p.m. for public comments. Others may also submit a written comment at council@ci.tumwater.wa.us, before 5:00 p.m tomorrow.
