Social change begins with self-examination and requires exchanges, dialogues, and finally civic engagement and actions to cultivate anti-racist community.
As we continue a commitment to the quest of making meaningful social change by inviting the community to come together for skill-building and conversation to better address the racism that exists within our community, you are invited to participate in this dialogue for organizational leaders and community members to examine and discuss race relations and racism and how we can work together to achieve justice in our community.
The goal of the dialogue is to inform people how racism and bias contribute to perpetuating the classroom to prison pipeline, the criminal legal system, and other areas. You will hear what actions are being taken and could be taken to dismantle or impact these systems.
