The Olympia Yacht Club is staging its annual SEA Day and Environmental Awareness Day on Saturday, April 25.
A marine swap meet will also take place as a co-event.
SEA Day runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. while the swap meet runs from 9 a.m. to noon. Breakfast sandwiches will be available for purchase.
The public is welcome to the events, which will take place in the OYC clubhouse and parking lot, located at 201 Simmons St. NW, next to Bayview Thriftway along Fourth Avenue in Olympia.
Boaters and those interested in the marine environment can enjoy kids’ events, marine exhibits, environmental information, safety checks and assorted freebies.
Those interested in participating in the free swap meet should contact Fran Williams at 360-584-2952 or franwil@comcast.net to sign up. Sellers should arrive between 8 and 9 a.m. to set up.
