Sea Stroll: Historic Shoreline Tours

Learn how the cultural and ecological history of Olympia’s historic shoreline intertwines during the Sea Stroll tours!
 
Previously referred to as a walking tour, the Estuarium hosts Sea Stroll shoreline tours to educate the public about the unique history and wildlife of the state capital.
 
Tickets are $15/person - kids 12 & under are FREE! Downtown Tour tickets come with free admission to the Estuarium at the end of the event.
 
The Sea Stroll is done every other 2nd Sunday of the month: 1 - 3 p.m.

Starting from the Estuarium, you will explore the changes to Olympia's shoreline, from its geologic past
to present-day concerns like rising sea levels. Learn about the importance of estuaries, and their benefits, and discover the impact of water processes on our estuary's water quality. Discover unique facts about the history of early Olympia, and the importance of the original stewards of these lands, and the arrival of non-natives. It's a journey through time and nature you won't want to miss!
