Search underway for North Thurston Public Schools District 2 director 

North Thurston Public Schools is looking for an individual to fill the seat of the District 2 director, which became vacant after a board member’s resignation. 

To apply for the position, the applicant must be a U.S. citizen, a registered voter and live within the District 2 boundaries. Other requirements are listed on the district’s site. 

Applicants are tasked to complete an application packet and a nomination form, online or in-person at the district's office. 

The documents must be submitted to the district office at 305 College St. NE, by 3 p.m. on Feb. 27.  

Individuals are encouraged to contact Jennifer Baird at 360-412-4413 to schedule an orientation with the superintendent. The application and nomination screening is scheduled on March 3.
