Tenino's 150th Jubilee

The City of Tenino will celebrate its sesquicentennial on Saturday, July 8, with a Jubilee from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Planned activities include the Opening and Flag Ceremony including the Rainier Brass Quintet America’s Firs Corps Band from JBLM, Old Time Carnival Games, Kids Zone with Bounce Houses, Silly Procession & General Hullabaloo Walking Parade, Musical Entertainment, Birthday Cake, Dignitary speeches, Pony Rides, Field Games, Magician Jeff Evans, Talent Show, and Food booths. The Jubilee is free to attend and will take place at Tenino City Park. Visitors are encouraged to check out the new playground and pump tracks while attending the Jubilee.

11:30 a.m.: Silly Procession & General Hullabaloo Walking Parade (The rules are as follows: No motorized vehicles.  Participants must be dressed up in a family-friendly costume, and/or have a pet in costume (clean up after your pet), and/or have a decorated human-propelled vehicle like a bike, trike, scooter, rickshaw, skateboard, derby car, etc., and/or have an instrument.)

12 p.m.: Tenino Talent show at the Quarry House Stage

12:30 p.m.: Field Games Commence (In-Person Registration for Field Game activities)

2 p.m.: Magician Jeff Evans -Quarry House Stage   Sponsored by the Tenino Timberland Library

3 p.m. - 8 p.m.: Quarry House Music Festival
