Politically motivated violence is called “terrorism.”

If politically motivated violence=terrorism then war=terrorism. Every drone strike. Every time law enforcement beat or murdered a civil rights or labor leader. The death penalty. What you people mean is it is terrorism if you don't agree with who is doing the violence. Also no one was hurt and the timing makes it seem that was likely intentional. So it's just property damage. Is graffiti terrorism?

WHOA. You draw a direct line - read what you posted, what the reporter wrote - between the Hand's Off rally on Saturday and this vandalism.

    Are you serious?

If you had a source who would spill this out of their mouth, you may have something to post like this. You'd have a quote.

It'd be questionable and if I were a reporter, I'd still think twice about putting that out there.

Even that quote would be pretty damned inflammatory. And unless the police had some evidence, what does that do

except plant rumors and false info?

Yes, there have been demonstrations and some destruction of the cars and charging stations across the country in response to the work Elon Musk is doing through DOGE. But that's it.

That's all you can credibly and honestly say and print.

I'm really appalled by this assumption - and that's what you put down in print - that there's a connection between the gathering of the 5000+ in Olympia and this.

Danny, you know better, too. Talk to your reporter and get him back up on the track.

Sad to see this. Tesla opened up their fast-charging stations to other vendors and nearly all support this, most will use NACS, the Tesla charging plug, on new EVs, some in 2025, the rest in 2026.

So fast charging that support all EVs is damaged.

I get that Musk actions are from someone with no empathy and no real plan for the American eco system, most of which both works and is supported by a majority of voters.

Destroying a resource that all EVs can use is counterproductive and slows EV growth. Bye an EV, just not a Tesla. That would be more effective way to protest.

Nice insinuation at the end of the article. Right on the heals, but 3 days later. You know what? It was just before last call at the bar, so let that sink in. BTW, not "so-called", it was a Hands Off peaceful demonstration.

PLEASE STOP CALLING EVERYTHING TERRORISM! It's like bandying about pedophilia and calling everyone a pedo that you disagree with. There really is a problem with pedophilia and terrorism, and minimizing those words doesn't help anybody.

The Hands Off rally had absolutely nothing to do with this. Absolutely irresponsible journalism.
