The Community Sustaining Fund accepting grant applications

The Community Sustaining Fund of Thurston County is accepting fall 2025 grant applications through Nov. 10 for creative and impactful proposals that meet its grant criteria.

Funding criteria and applications are available here. 

The Community Sustaining Fund was established in 1987, and has regularly gathered and disbursed funds in spring and fall grant rounds. The fund has awarded more than $200,000 to more than 200 local groups and individuals.

One hundred percent of Community Sustaining Fund contributions are directed to support community-based projects.

Individuals can support this local granting model via the following:
