Approximately 77% of Thurston County’s 207,296 registered voters cast their ballots in the November 5 general election.
The Auditor’s Office has received approximately 159,000 ballots and has counted 130,276 of these as of 4:01 p.m. today.
“We have 15,000 ballots ready to count tomorrow,” Thurston County Auditor Mary Hall told The JOLT today. Elections staff are set to continue counting ballots over the next few days.
Ballots from around the state and world continue to arrive at Thurston County Elections, especially those from cities with universities. Students and others deposit their ballots in county election boxes instead of U.S. Postal Service boxes.
The votes shown below include only Thurston County voters' data. Most of the votes are for statewide races, including four initiatives and nine statewide executive officers, and for multi-county races, such as for legislative districts 2, 19, 20 and 35.
