Just over a quarter of Thurston County's voters turned in ballots in time to be counted in the August 3, 2021 primary.
Of these, some 85% of votes have been counted as of 6 p.m. tonight.
The county-wide Thurston Medic One levy is on its way to passage, with some 63.84% of the votes counted so far approving. This would add approximately six cents per $1,000 of valuation to this portion of property taxes.
Candidates for Port of Olympia Commission seats, Olympia and Yelm city councils, Olympia School District Board seats and the Thurston County portion of Rochester School District director position no. 5 were on various ballots. In addition, three candidates vied for the East Olympia fire commissioner position.
Construction bonds and levy lifts for fire district 12 and 13 and the SE Thurston Fire Authority were also on some voters' ballots.
The results of all votes are available at the Thurston County Auditor's website.
