Thurston County Museum of Fine Arts "Portal" Exhibit

TCMoFA has closed its open call for art and is preparing the PORTALS show for Spring Arts Walk 2024. They received a total of 107 submissions (the most yet!) and were able to accept 33 artists.

The location will be at 509 4th Ave E, Olympia, WA 98506

  • Thursday, April 25
    • 7 - 9 p.m.: SOFT OPENING & ARTIST RECEPTION
  • Friday, April 26:
    • 4 p.m. - 10 p.m.: OPEN HOURS
  • Saturday, April 27:
    • 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. OPEN HOURS & PERFORMANCES
    • 8 p.m. - late GALA & DANCE PARTY (DJ performances by VJ Jay, DJ Siempre Bruja, Mira.9e and ZyphoniQ, suggested donation is $5-10)
  • Sunday, April 28:
    • 12 - 6 p.m.: OPEN HOURS
    • 1 p.m. DANCE PERFORMANCE (by Moving Parts Dance)
    • 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. ARTIST LECTURE SERIES (lectures by Kathy Gore-Fuss, Tania Colette B., and Anton Seder)

All events are free to attend, donations are always accepted. Please check the website for a more detailed schedule of performances and artist talks. 

"We are an ephemeral museum experience featuring artists from Thurston County. Our Arts Walk and Armory collections have featured a selection of interdisciplinary works. For Fall Arts Walk 2023, TCMoFA became CSMoFA (Coast Salish Museum of Fine Arts) and curated a show featuring Indigenous artists," stated at the TCMoFA website.
